Battery and disposal warnings

This device contains an alkaline battery. The below guidelines must be followed in order to maintain expected useful life of the device, and to reduce risk of damage to device or personal injury.

  • KEEP BATTERIES AWAY FROM CHILDREN. Never put batteries in the mouth or in any part of the body. Severe or fatal injuries can occur within 2 hours. Seek medical attention immediately.
  • Keep device clean and dry when stored and not in-use.
  • No internal items are serviceable and no attempt should be made to adjust or alter any internal items.
  • Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above the temperature ranges specified in the printed manual, or incinerate. Doing so may result in injury due to venting, leakage, or explosion resulting in chemical burns.
  • Never expose this device or battery to open flames, incineration, sharp or piercing objects, chemicals, or the battery to water.
  • Do not modify, remanufacture, puncture, or damage the device or batteries
  • Replaceable alkaline batteries should be used with this device.
  • Only replace batteries with correct replacement batteries. Using other batteries presents a risk of fire or explosion.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types of batteries, such as alkaline, carbon-zinc, or rechargeable batteries.
  • Ensure the batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and -).
  • Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of batteries from equipment not used for an extended period of time according to local regulations.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

⚠ Recycling/Disposal of device and battery Warning: Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations and keep away from children. Do NOT dispose of batteries in household trash or incinerate. Even used batteries may cause severe injury or death. Call a local poison control center for treatment information.
This device must not be mixed with general household waste. For proper treatment, recovery and recycling, please take this product to designated collection points where it will be accepted free of charge.
