Indoor Power Meter - Stages Indoor Power Meter Gen. 3 User Guide

Pairing the Power Meter

The power meter must be connected or “paired” to the Stages display console or other compatible display via ANT+ or Bluetooth to transmit ride data (Watts and RPM). Once paired, the console can also be used to manually reset the power meter’s zero offset value.

To pair the power meter:

  • Confirm that the power meter has fully charged AA batteries properly installed.
  • Rotate the crank arm once to ensure the power meter is awake.
  • Follow the Stages console (or other display device manufacturer’s) instructions for pairing the power meter.

Each power meter has a unique ANT+ ID. During the pairing process this device ID is recorded by the display device and will be detected whenever the console is on and the power meter is in use. The ANT+ ID number is located on the power meter (see figure below) and supplied with the power meter documentation.

Note: The power meter will remain paired to the head unit and resume broadcasting after the batteries are replaced.
