Steps 7-8: Lower & secure the gas cylinder

Equipment Required

• 2 x #5 (Shoulder spacers)
• 1 x #6 (M6 lock nut)
• 1 x #7 (M6 x 1 x 45 mm)
• #14 (Gas Cylinder)
• 5 mm hex wrench
• 10 mm combination wrench

Step 7: With the arrow on the head of the gas cylinder (#14) pointing toward the front of the bike, lower the gas cylinder into the head tube.

Step 8: Thread the screw (#7) and the first shoulder spacer (#5) through the hole in the head tube and the eyelet at the bottom of the gas cylinder.

Thread the second shoulder spacer onto the screw and into the head tube on the opposite side. Install the lock nut (#6) and tighten using a 5 mm hex wrench and a 10 mm combination wrench.
